The trip that keeps on going...

Remember I was in Lubbock last week? I finally decided to continue on to New Mexico to see my mom and step-dad Steve before we moved another 5 hours away from them. Included in this trip was time with my Grandma and Grandpa and my cousin Renee, her hubby John and their daughter Haley. Renee, John and Haley were up visiting from San Antonio so we tagged along on some of their site seeing events. I have prob. 100 pictures and some videos, I'll post a couple to appease the masses! But really I'm home for only a moment (feels like) before we are off to OKC. Oliver is completely sprawled out on the bed right now, "tuckered out" but he did amazing on the 8ish hour drive, especially considering that he hates being in his car seat. Let me bullet the points of the trip
- Steve was shocked to find that my car was on it's last leg and couldn't believe I made it there
- He then spent lots of time fixing it because he loves us so!
- My mom never tired of planning with Oliver and kept him laughing all the time
- Park
- White Sands... 100 degrees... sunburn...chicken...hot... potato salad..
- Sleep
- Space museum
- Make a cheesecake
- Petting horses
- More park
- Sift through "Jeanette's memory boxes"
- White Sands...evening... much nicer... really fun
- Grandma's for dinner...Haley + Oliver = best buds (finally!)
- Rain
- Library
- Make another cheesecake
- Freezing swimming
- Picnic in the mountains (again freezing)
- Drive home... Play in the playground in Seminole...Cowboy's restaurant in Big Spring for dinner (apparently the only actual restaurant in town)
