Really we have done alot of things and most of them interesting, I have written many blogs repeatedly in my head. Some of the titles for these imaginary blogs are things like, "10 reasons I miss Abilene", "Attack of the wasps...and other creatures", "Always travel with your driver's license","Why you should not be pregnant in the winter", and "what God teaches you when life is falling apart". Okay its getting too serious in here now and there is no need to talk (on this blog anyway) about all our troubles!
I'll blog about Oliver's birthday later right now I'll tell you about our trip to Washington. We went for a week to
Washington to visit one of my best friends, Meghan and her family. They moved to Washington earlier this year courtesy of the military. We arrived just in time for the onset of winter (yikes) but still had lots of fun. Really just being together and having the kids play was just perfect. We baked cheesecake and scones, made bread and sandwiches, and ate way too much feta. The kids rode bikes, rolled down hills, played trains and school, drew pictures and read. We did some Spokane type things too, like check out 
downtown, ride the 100 year old carousel (well not me, my parents didn't call me the hurler queen for nothing), hiking, went bowling (well not Spokane specific but still fun), picked apples and stuff like that.
